Can it be mounted to concrete or cinder block walls?
Yes. Many of our customers go this route. Below are two common ways to do this, otherwise feel free to give us a call for questions with installation 1-866-443-6623:
1. Our recommended and easiest option is to fur out your concrete walls with studs, then you can secure your gun wall with the screws provided. Here's a video showing that process: Click To See Video . We recommend going 16" on center with screws in both channels of each slatwall rail.
2. You can mount directly to the cinder block or concrete wall, but you will need to purchase concrete screws. We've found that using a pan head 3/16" x 1-1/4" concrete screw works best. Here is an option that works well: Amazon Link
Are there holes pre-drilled into the rails for the screws?
We do not pre-drill holes into the rails. Our drill guide spacer and self drilling screws make pre-drilled holes unnecessary.
Are any substitutions allowed for this tactical display package? I would like to swap some pieces in and others out.
There aren’t any substitutions allowed for our “bundles”. However, each bundle is made up of our individual parts. So you can order everything “a la carte” and get exactly what you want using our gun wall builder. If you would like help with this process please give us a call at 866-443-6623
Can my gun wall be a different height or width?
Yes, the size of our gun walls are customizable to fit your specific space. You can design your own using our gun wall builder or contact our team and we will design your wall for free: 1-866-443-6623 or contact@holdupdisplays.com.
Custom sizing information (please read):
Width: Our standard website offering allows you to customize your width in 1-foot increments. We do offer custom cuts for more precise widths. Please give us a call (1-866-443-6623) if this is something you are interested in.
Height: Customizable in 6-inch increments. 6-inch increments is the only option as we are unable to cut the height of our rails.
Modular Gun Storage. Like all of our walls, the HD112 provides endless storage capacity, with modular panels and racks that grow alongside your collection. Let's be real, we’re never done buying more guns, and with the HD112, there's no limit on storage space. Adding a couple new rifles or some extra gear? No problem. Buy extra slatwall panels (HDSW2) and more racks and shelves for additional storage.
- Expand Vertically: Stacking additional slatwall panels is a simple way to expand your storage system vertically.
