Can it be locked?

Yes. We sell a variety of locking options here. You can choose to lock individual firearms or multiple at once. We suggest that you also consider securing your entire gun wall or gun room. Theft deterrence and general gun safety begins with the overall security and safety of your home first.

Can it be mounted to concrete or cinder block walls?

Yes. Many of our customers go this route. Below are two common ways to do this, otherwise feel free to give us a call for questions with installation 1-866-443-6623:

1. Our recommended and easiest option is to fur out your concrete walls with studs, then you can secure your gun wall with the screws provided. Here's a video showing that process: Click To See Video . We recommend going 16" on center with screws in both channels of each slatwall rail.

2. You can mount directly to the cinder block or concrete wall, but you will need to purchase concrete screws. We've found that using a pan head 3/16" x 1-1/4" concrete screw works best. Here is an option that works well: Amazon Link

What type of firearms does this hold?

We have racks for every type of firearm. Our slatwall system allows you to position long gun hooks horizontally or vertically. A few of our mutli-gun racks come in two pieces, giving you the freedom to position the racks vertically based on the length of your guns. We also have specific mounts for handguns and bows.

Does it allow for adding more panels/racks later?

Yes. Our slatwall panels are made to be expandable. As your firearm collection grows, our slatwall system allows you to install new slatwall pieces and gun racks to your existing gun wall. When you’re ready, you can give us a call, and our team will get you the exact slat wall pieces and gun racks you need to fit your growing collection.

Is there a weight limit for the wall?

We do have general weight recommendations for our gun walls. But it is important to note that our slat wall is much stronger than our racks, meaning our racks will fail prior to our slat wall.

Our general weight recommendations depend on how you install your gun wall. Each slatwall piece is graded for 50lbs per stud its screwed into. So the overall weight limit of your wall depends on your home’s stud spacing, the size of your gun wall and the slatwall pieces that it's built with, and as well as where you decide to place your gunwall along those studs.

What is the weight rating on the hooks/racks

This depends on the hook/rack. Our most popular option, the Vertical 6 Gun Rack holds up to 100 lbs safely. Our Singular, Vertical Long Gun hook holds up to 15 lbs.

Do the rails have pre-drilled holes for the screws?

We provide self-drilling screws, so the screw will drill the hole that it requires. Therefore there is no need to pre-drill the holes.
