How does this long gun rack adjust for different angles?

There is a hex head bolt/nut under the plastic caps in the middle of the racks where they attach to the mounting posts.  By loosening the bolt and nut, you can set the angle wherever you want and then tighten the bolt/nut.

How much horizontal space does each HD80 take up?

The HD80 will take up 12” of horizontal space.

How far apart should the top rack be placed from the bottom rack?

That will totally depend on the length of the long guns you are displaying on the rack.  The racks will need to be placed much further apart for field shotguns versus short barreld rifles.

Is there a lower profile version of this rack so it doesn’t stick out from the wall so far?

We only make one version of the HD80 and the bottom rack will come out 14” from the wall.
